Pros

There are no pros, really.

Cons

I’ve waited a long time to write this review, partly because it’s hard to put into words just how badly AnywhereWorks treated me — especially during one of the most difficult times of my life: my cancer diagnosis. I was hired with excitement and hope, thinking I’d finally found a supportive remote position with a company that claimed to care about people. That illusion shattered quickly. When I disclosed my cancer diagnosis to my supervisor and asked for basic understanding — not even extended leave, just reasonable flexibility and empathy — I was met with indifference, avoidance, and eventually, retaliation. My work was scrutinized more closely, communication from management became cold or nonexistent, and eventually I was pushed out entirely under a vague pretense that had nothing to do with performance. Let me be clear: I showed up. I did my job. I communicated everything professionally and respectfully. I never once asked for special treatment — just humane treatment. What I got instead was isolation, zero support, and the quiet but unmistakable message that illness makes you expendable. The final insult came when they tried to block me from receiving unemployment, despite me having overwhelming documentation that my separation was unfair and retaliatory. I’ve had to file complaints with the EEOC and other agencies just to get justice. This company pretends to be people-first. They brand themselves as “kind” and “forward-thinking.” But behind the remote work and empty wellness slogans is a toxic reality: they do not care about their employees, especially if you become inconvenient, vulnerable, or need compassion. If you are chronically ill, disabled, neurodivergent, or just human — run far away from AnywhereWorks. They are not who they claim to be.

Thank you for your feedback! It is really great to hear about your experience and the energy you bring to your role. We are especially glad that the flexibility of remote work and support from your leadership team have made such a strong positive impact for you! Hearing that you feel supported and enjoy coming to work is exactly what we aim for. We put a lot of focus on creating an environment where people can do their best work while still having balance and autonomy, so your feedback means a lot. We appreciate you taking the time to share such a positive perspective and are grateful to have you on the team!

Pros

A paycheck would be the only thing, and even then, the pay is extremely low for the work required.

Cons

They are currently mass firing employees and yet they aren't holding the people that have been actively ruining the department accountable. They added shift pick against people's best wishes and set up an awful system. Employees were consistently, and ILLEGALLY working a week straight and up to a month straight. The people in charge of this change knew. They knew for months. People complained for months. And they did nothing about it. But of course they keep their jobs. Yeah, must employees are obviously the issue.
