Pros

The app is unique in that there are a ton of data sources to work with and you can learn a bit as a developer here.

Cons

If you are an engineer with experience, you will have much better options than here. Engineers of all levels are extremely underpaid, benefits are non existent, there are no career growth opportunities, and work life balance is not great. The office is not diverse at all. Of 15 or so employees, there are only 2 women and only 1 person of color (see their Instagram page). There is a very strong bro culture here and most events are centered around drinking or sports like a frat club. Something strange you may notice is that turnover rate is high, but there are a small handful of people who have worked there for half a decade or more. It’s not the pay: a 7+ year engineer never broke into the 6 figure salary. It’s not the work life balance: Only 20 days PTO, no remote work, hours are barely flexible, and a minimum of 8 hours a day is expected. The only explanation is some kind of corporate Stockholm Syndrome. Some of These workers work 10+ hours a day and can sometimes be found working weekends. If you are someone who values having a life outside of work, please avoid this company. If you are not, please also avoid, as you might find yourself stuck here for years and never develop your career.

Pros

Autonomy. You’ll be given the chance to lead projects with the founders side by side. Founders who give back. We recently got 401k match. What’s really cool is the founders do a lot of employee appreciation initiatives. Great pay Amazing people The freedom I’ve been given has led to a healthier and happier life vs other companies. Slack channels are fun! Loads of gamers and a really engaging book club. Founders are incredible people

Cons

I love this job and honestly don’t have any. If you’re someone who needs to be micromanaged or doesn’t want to lead projects than this isn’t for you.

Pros

Working here has been one of the most inspiring experiences of my career. The leadership team genuinely cares about both the product and the people behind it. Our CEO has a clear, long-term vision for the company and communicates it in a way that makes you want to be part of the journey. He’s hands-on, approachable, and balances big-picture thinking with genuine humility. The culture is collaborative, fast-moving, and full of passionate people who take pride in what they do. There’s a strong emphasis on learning, ownership, and treating people with respect — everyone’s voice matters here. The office (and remote culture) feels energetic and intentional, not about appearances but about creating an environment where ideas flow freely. I’ve seen real career growth opportunities and consistent recognition for hard work. The leadership gives thoughtful feedback and celebrates wins — both big and small. It’s the kind of place where you can actually see the impact of your work every day.

Cons

If you’re looking for a place to coast, this might not be for you. It’s a high-accountability environment that expects initiative and clear communication. The pace can be fast, but it’s because we’re genuinely building something meaningful.
