Professional growth: This is a place to become a programming artisan. If there's a technology that interests you, there are many experts willing to teach. Alternatively, there's opportunity to learn.
Talent: There's a high bar for talent. You will be helped and challenged by all the people you work with. There's an interesting group of people here with many talents!
Autonomy: You're expected to make work-task priority decisions that are in the best financial interest of the company. You have a lot of freedom to make choices as to what you want to work on.
Respect: There's a lot of mutual respect at Apportable. You're treated like a responsible adult and are expected to act like one. There isn't really a reporting structure here.

Cons
The area is right on the edge of a not-so-great part of San Francisco. But, the office is moving soon, so hopefully this will be rectified.
