Pros

There are some smart people who work for Archistar, whose intentions are good. The product(s) is somewhat innovative and interesting to work on. Solve difficult product problems. People are generally nice and friendly, and listen to what you have to say. Effort goes into social events and meals. There are some nice perks if you stick around long enough.

Cons

There is serious lack of focus and vision: too many projects and ideas are undertaken with little result and a lot of time wasted. The CEO dictates product development and micro manages teams. Archistar is a sales led company, not a product or user led company. This means sales often panic when they don't hit targets and cause disruptions within the company. There is no culture of user research or analytics to drive decision making. The company values are poorly defined, and no one is held accountable to them. There is an air of arrogance about Archistar when it compares itself to its competitors. This is compounded when success is defined as gaining unicorn status and becoming rich. Career growth and development is limited. Archistar prefer staff to leave if the challenge is too great for them.

Thank you for your feedback, both good and not so great. As it appears you work at Archistar we are disheartened to have not had the opportunity to directly discuss your opinions with you sooner. We would love the opportunity to chat and work through your observations and see where we can improve, and also communicate with you in more detail why certain decisions are and/or have been made in the best interest of our platform for our valued clients. We want our people to be passionate about the company they are working for, and proud of the difference they are making in the proptech industry. We trust having this conversation with you will provide both yourself and our team some clarity and peace of mind. Please be sure to reach out! At Archistar, we do value our people and encourage innovation and collaboration amongst teams. To support our growth, this requires user feedback to be received from all team members, including our sales division, who speak regularly with our valued clients. In saying this, we do not feel the platform is defined solely by sales. Our product team consists of multiple industry experts building new cutting edge technology that are first to market, so our internal expertise and product user feedback is absolutely critical to the company’s direction! Archistar has a big global vision, and when our company achieves product breakthroughs and milestones, we do like to celebrate our successes. To achieve success, Archistar invests a lot of time and resources into developing their team members and providing job opportunities within the company where possible. Whether this may be mentorship, coaching, workshops, internships, sponsored internal/ external learning programs, job variety across divisions etc. If you feel you are not being provided adequate development opportunities, again, please reach out and let us know! We are always happy to receive suggestions to help boost our team members to be the best they can be.
