Architects Alaska has a strong group of people who are committed to their work and to supporting one another. The firm appears to be moving in the right direction, particularly under the newer leadership approach. There is a noticeable focus on improving efficiency and modernizing workflows. Collaboration across teams is solid, and overall momentum is positive.

The firm is in a transition period, so some processes and communication are still being worked out. In a few areas, the “way it’s always been done” mindset can make change a challenge and take longer than it should.

The principals are smart, fair, and willing to listen to good ideas. We are a busy firm and that is a good problem to have.

We are going through some growing pains with a shift in management and leadership.
