Disappointed in lack of ethics and humanity from managers - Anonymous employee Armature Studio Employee Review

I felt pressured to do something by someone in leadership that I felt was deeply unethical, and instead of hearing my concerns, I was ignored. I felt terribly conflicted because it was made clear to me I either had to go along or leave the company, which was heartbreaking since I love game development so it meant choosing between my dream of game development or damaging my soul by doing something I felt was very wrong. I let upper management know I could use some help with this, but they showed zero concern or compassion or flexibility or ability to see things from another's point of view. They made it very clear they didn't even want to listen to how I felt, as though they had much more important things to do. They basically mostly treated me like I didn't exist after I raised my concern with them. In the end, I felt like I learned they were no more than soulless robots at heart, not people who care about their team. I still feel deeply traumatized by how I was treated.
