Pros
-Family owned employer where you have a name and not a number -Ability to grow your skill set and pay by completing company approved training courses / classes that are 100 % paid for by the company and not out of pocket -Average years on the job in my system is 15 as this is not just a job but a career -Promotion is done from within and not from outside sources so as opportunities open up you can advance if you put in the work
Cons
As with most utilities this is a customer service satisfaction field . On call and hours can vary based on demand however this comes with an attractive payout
