Good Company. Horrible job! - Account Manager Array Services Group Employee Review

Pros

The company itself is great, supportive, and overall great layout of management.

Cons

Working on the JC Christensen and Assc. side is debt collecting. No matter how good the company is, debt collecting sucks. Hard to take time off. Bonuses are great at first to hook you and then percentages drop a little and you have to work harder for the same amount of bonus. They set goals fairly high, sometimes you think they are unobtainable. Sometimes you actually hit them and make some good money though.

Pros

The vast majority of people working for Array Services Group, now Alltran, are all quite friendly. Many of the supervisors are friendly and helpful. The HR director Nikki is top-notch. Very professional and courteous. Quick to respond to emails and inquiries.

Cons

Management issues arose once the company was bought out by United Recovery Systems (URS). The executives at URS spend excessive amounts of money on travel expenses including airfare, hotel accommodations, and dining while creating a wage increase freeze for employees for many months, and sometimes years. The current CEO in the Sartell location is ethical and fair but seems to have little control over major decisions. Employee turnover is extreme and many of the top performers have left the company due to poor management decisions. It's unfortunate. Honest communication is severely lacking. The HR team member who covers payroll is disrespectful to employees and is slow to respond to emails and inquiries. She has discussed employee's personal issues with people not authorized to know. Very much a "me" person instead of an "us" person.
