Pros

The one good thing about the company is that they supplied you with a camera that is up to today's standards but in true Aspen fashion that almost didn’t happen. The head of Aspen thought that cameras from over a decade ago were still good enough and he would have gotten those if he wasn’t told about how out of date the other ones were.

Diverse Project Portfolio: I have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from promotional videos to corporate training materials, to government projects allowing me to gain experience in different aspects of video production and expand my skill set. Professional Growth and Development: The company provides many growth opportunities that enable me to stay flexible and take on different niches in the industry. Impactful Work: Creating content for corporate clients allows me to have a direct impact on their branding, marketing, and internal communications. My work can help businesses convey their messages effectively, enhance their public image, and drive their success. Supportive Culture: The company fosters a collaborative environment where teamwork is highly valued. Our regional team is supportive and encourages innovation and efficiencies and they do their best to recognize individual and team achievements. Also they do their best to protect your 9-5 and allow for flex time when projects go into the evening.

Cons

Being too busy: It's a long road to becoming situated as THE national video production company. Sometimes, we find ourselves stretched thin with a high volume of projects, which can lead to stress among team members. Taking on last minute jobs: Occasionally, we take on last minute projects to accommodate clients, which can disrupt workflow and require extra effort to meet deadlines. Need more systems for new team members: As we grow, there's a need to develop more structured onboarding and training systems for new team members to ensure they integrate smoothly and perform at their best right from the start.
