Pros

Great team work, with certain staff. great patients

Cons

Owner is rude and unfair, she will blame one for the mistakes of others. She will cover up for her favorite employees knowing they did wrong and make lots of mistakes. Beware they are not what they seem to be. She will blame you and fired you, knowing She is Wrong.

Pros

>Flexible hours >Management is polite over the phone and in person >Somehow payment is correct despite management mishandling scheduling >There is room for advancement if caregivers/employees survive the high turnover rate, burnout, and poor work/life balance >Caregivers get to wear their own scrubs in the beginning

Cons

>No health insurance, just health insurance "matching" >Excessive texts, emails, and calls at inappropriate hours >Too many phone numbers that lead to directories or call centers that immediately say the agency is facing a high volume of calls so callers must leave messages, often when dealing with time sensitive issues in vulnerable clients >Unprofessional, poor, and rude written communication >Management does not update care plans >Caregivers are "not supposed to distribute medication" yet can be in trouble for not distributing medication so clients don't miss a vital dose >Management blames caregivers for not being available despite possessing caregiver availability >Management disregards and disrespects caregiver time and availability >Management and lead caregivers encourage caregivers to decline clients who are not a good match, yet repeatedly pressures caregivers to go back to those clients >Caregivers gossip about each other and mock clients behind their backs >Management spams caregivers with shift options and calls inappropriately early in the AM despite asking for and possessing caregiver availability >Management sends sick, potentially contagious caregivers to vulnerable clients >If caregivers call off due to illness, they are counted towards excessive call-offs, even though contact with their clients could be deadly >Management does not track shifts well and relies on an app to inform caregivers whether or not they have a shift >If there is uncertainty surrounding a shift or error in the system, management does not respond to caregivers asking if there is an error in scheduling in a timely manner >Management sends caregivers into dangerous situations unprepared due to failure to update the care plan, such as claiming a client is minimal assist. companion care when they are bedridden and beyond aggressive, verbally and physically >Management is unaware of caregiver schedules despite scheduling them and being in charge of scheduling them >Management calls caregivers mid-shift to beg caregivers to take on clients during scheduled times/overlapping shifts >When caregivers express they're already scheduled and therefore cannot switch/"abandon" shift, management pressures caregivers repeatedly to switch to aggressive, "difficult" clients they have repeatedly declined to work with >Management claims clients are not receiving care because management does not have caregivers' availability, yet spams caregivers with multiple available shifts after receiving the information (meaning caregivers are aware of open shifts and are simply unavailable) >Management does not automatically call clients to remind them caregivers are arriving, which leaves clients with memory loss confused, insulted, and upset, starting off the shift badly >Sick caregivers are required to be in close physical contact with medically fragile clients, who caregivers may infect, or in the reverse, clients may infect caregivers >Management is kind and reassuring over the phone that suddenly ill caregivers will be accommodated, yet they face suspension when they have to call off and are informed by text of said suspension (very unprofessional) >Clients complain management is disrespectful and "not raised well"/has poor home training >Scrubs provided are threadbare to the point of being see-through and underwear being visible >Caregivers are not informed of the nature of a pet, such as one that is destructive to property, prior to arrival >Caregivers are not informed of potentially harmful client behavior (aggression, substance abuse, manipulative nature) >Caregivers are deprived of informed consent because management does not give them clear and truthful information on harmful client behaviors
