Pros

If you love being lied to constantly, work 20 hour days for 7 days a week then by all means this is the place for you.

Cons

They have 0 infrastructure and resources yet expect you to recreate proprietary tech in a day while being threatened with your job. I could go on about how incompetent the CEO and his buddy buddy's are, but its no use, since you can't create brain cells for them and you shouldn't experience any of it anyways. They expect the world from you while berating you for how little you work and with peanuts in pay. The CEO fired the frontend developer after the she asked for leave because her grandmother died. The same day, and she found out on the group chat told by another incompetent manager. The CEO had no spine to deliver the message to her himself, after her grandmother died. That is the kind of person he is, and its one of many horrible things he did and not even the worst.

Pros

Honestly, I could not identify any pros during my time at Asisto Technologies. The work environment is stressful, unappreciative of effort, and promises—such as compensation—are not honoured.

Cons

My internship at Asisto Technologies as an AI Research Intern was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Despite working 10+ hours daily and putting in significant effort, I was constantly told that I wasn’t doing enough. There was zero recognition for past work or achievements—only immediate output mattered, which made the environment stressful and demotivating. All communication was done over WhatsApp, and the founder often called at 1 AM asking for updates, which added unnecessary stress and blurred work-life boundaries. Worse, I was promised a small stipend for my work, but the CEO ultimately refused to honour this commitment. I also witnessed an employee who had not been paid for the past five months, highlighting serious issues with the company’s compensation practices. This means I worked long hours without any compensation, which feels exploitative. I would strongly caution anyone considering an internship or full-time role here to think twice, as promises are not kept and the work culture is unsupportive.
