Pros
Great remote first organization. Competitive pay. Well capitalized. Good WLB in some teams. ICs are mostly well shielded from negatives. Pretty cool product with lots of promise. People genuinely work to improve things but it's not the priority. Lots of fun challenges to work on. Pockets of really solid folks to get to know who are going to be the ones to get us to critical mass as far as improving culture and quality.
Cons
Resistant to improving culture and process. Product engineering is chaotic and doesn't focus enough on quality and maintainability. Flat structure is a joke, shadow structures and implicit responsibility and authority are everywhere. Leadership could seriously use work especially in engineering. Zero consistency in how teams are managed, no ability to effectively organize and address a clear and convincing product vision more than a week at a time. Young founders combined with no real accountability to a board or investors means the top of the org doesn't know what it doesn't know or how things could be better.
