Learning Experience - Anonymous Atlas General Insurance Employee Review

Over the course of the last year, the company began gutting departments by sending more and more jobs to the outsourcing team in India, a company called Patra, including everyone from data entry to managers. But not before having the unknowing employees train their replacements via video conferencing. Majority of new in house hires are through temporary agencies, thus limited access to benefits or ability to participate in "company perks" & events like their full time colleagues. New computer systems recently implemented are plagued with problems with little to no training or support, while sales goals and production expectations are continuously being pushed. Once great employee morale has been replaced by escalating fear as one job after the next is outsourced.
