Where do I start? When I first started at GlynnDevins it was possibly one of the best places I had ever worked in my then 20 year career. Then in 2018/2019 Jim & George cashed out and a CIF named CIP took over. For a while things were still ok. Then they replaced the CFO - Then one day with no notice we had a new CEO. This was the start of the downfall. It went from a company that cared about what we did and the end users (Seniors) to a company strictly focused on profit margin.
You had a company that once focused on its clients and their needs and happiness, to a cookie cutter - lets make everything as automated as possible and as templated as possible. Then when that wasn't working they great purge began. Numerous rounds of layoffs occurred. Why? The overhead was way too high and there was no way to get a higher margin than cutting operating expenses and totally changing/ruining the company.
Now I'm sure there will be some sort of comment from them on this post, mentioning the VP or People (dumbest title ever BTW). But the real problem is the ownership group and the C level people who lack vision and compassion.
It is a travesty what has happened to the once mighty GlynnDevins. Oh, and if they weren't laid off - all of the best talent has either left or is trying to leave.
