Pros

Sitewire is run by a team of people who are exceptional. They are wonderful leaders and visionaries who truly care about their employees. Sitewire offers an incredible amount of flexibility and trust as soon as you earn it, which is not hard to do if you are dedicated, a hard worker, and loyal. At Sitewire, if you do an incredible job, you are paid well. If you do a mediocre job, you get average pay. I would never leave Sitewire for another agency. Sitewire has incredible benefits and really smart people.

Cons

The agency industry isn't easy. It is a lot of hard work, long hours and there are a lot of stressful clients. Sitewire always struggles with workload, and there are definitely people who don't have a great work/life balance.

Pros

The team at Sitewire is unique and unparalleled to any other in the Phoenix agency world. It was a very intimate community where everyone is extremely talented and willing to get the work done. I found that the agency overall was run extremely well, there was a lot of transparency about financials and current company status. Bret & Margie are passionate marketers who are always approachable and available for mentoring and assistance. There was a steady / even balance of new business and legacy clients, some of which could be difficult at times but that is the business we are all in. Benefits while I was there were phenomenal but the salary could have been better - yearly reviews were always scheduled but sometimes did not result in a bonus or salary increase even with glowing reviews. Culture events were always a priority which is great for morale but sometimes I wondered how much was being spent on them and if that money could be re-purposed for salaries. They were extremely respectful of work/life balance almost a bit too much, working from home was common for some people which sometimes could result in lack of communication. Its a great benefit to offer employees the ability to work from home when needed, but there needs to be a level of accountability if that is the case.

Cons

The "service delivery" teams (read: development, design, media) at times were diva-like. As an account individual, it was difficult to get them to engage and hit certain deadlines. Ultimately it would be pulled together in the end but there was a lack of proactive communication and almost a double standard for how account teams should operate versus service.
