Pros

• Excellent culture (at least in my department and from all the other people I interact with) — supportive team members, respect and understanding right out of the gate, and the ever-present opportunity to share ideas and also shoot the sh*t when needed (more than ever in this virtual time) • Outstanding approach to remote/hybrid working — constantly involving the entire company to contribute and have a voice in how employees can choose the workspace setup that is best for themselves (including a stipend to upgrade your home office) • A+ benefits for a startup — TRUE flex-time/PTO — they don't track it and management is super accommodating — no rigid “always available online from 9-5” expectations • Honestly, there is not one employee at this company I dislike. Even the handful of people whose work styles do not mesh with mine are decent and nice people. Everyone is cool. Approachable, funny, smart. Not a lot of big egos here.

Cons

I am going to be straightforward here, I felt compelled to write a review in response to a couple of the recent negative ones. I was not asked by management to write this, I personally felt like it because there were some sweeping statements about "all employees" that I don't necessarily agree with and want to ensure readers get to hear various perspectives. I won't deny there are valid experiences people go through and they are absolutely within their right to share them here if that is what they are most comfortable with. There has been a huge hiring effort since last year, and with growth comes change. I've been through it at other companies and have been affected by it myself in the past. Change is uncomfortable, and chaotic, and can be negative. I, personally, have not felt the negative effects of the shift in Augury's leadership and team size. In fact, hiring more people to specialize in newly established roles has enabled me (and I'm sure other colleagues) to focus on the important work I want to do, instead of having to "wear multiple hats" and “herd cats” all day. I’ve noticed an attention to detail on leadership hires regarding their management styles and values. At least in my experience, new leadership has been absolutely excellent, truly improving the processes and day-to-day energy on our team. Maybe I'm lucky, but I don't think I'm alone in my experiences here. The only con I can think of: There could absolutely be more diversity: more women in leadership (we’re talking C-level!), more BIPOC/AAPI employees, contributions from industry leaders other than middle-aged white men. I won't say the effort isn't there but I’m not sure it’s being treated as a critical necessity.

Pros

Augury has a strong, mission‑driven culture where many employees feel supported and trusted. The team is friendly, smart, and highly collaborative, and there’s a real emphasis on personal growth and learning. They also offer flexible PTO and treat people like adults, which supports work‑life balance. Because the product is meaningful and technically interesting, the work makes a real impact

Cons

The company is still scaling, so processes may not be well defined, and rapid change can feel chaotic. Differences in time zones and working styles.

Pros

Solid continuous monitoring solution with solid logos/customer stories, great work-life balance and minds in place to get things done.

Cons

A revolving door of sales talent with insanely high churn amongst sellers. New processes constantly being created there seems to be a lot of trial and error and “see what sticks”. Comp plans are fair with good accelerators that coincide with ARR + deal size but it’s shaky. Don’t expect a ton from onboarding. The junior sellers / SDRs don’t really ever get promoted. A lot of talent is hired externally rather than internal.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We appreciate the recognition of our product, customers, and the work-life balance we strive to maintain. We also take the feedback around sales turnover, onboarding, and internal mobility seriously. As a scaling company, we’ve gone through periods of experimentation as we refine our go-to-market approach, and we recognize that this can sometimes feel like constant change. Our focus now is on building more consistency in our processes, strengthening onboarding, and creating clearer paths for career growth across the organization. We agree that transparency and direct communication are critical as we evolve. Feedback like this helps us continue improving how we support our teams and develop talent internally. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts.
