Stinks - Company Accountant Austin Air Systems Employee Review

Reading these negative reviews are nothing short of comical. I've worked for Austin Air a long time, and I will say it is a unique culture. Unfortunately, employees that are terminated because their performance was not up to par are statistically the first to write a "negative" review. It's very simple, you do your job, and the company treats you well. It is very much so like a family, and not everyone is a good culture fit.

None that I can think of.

-I got a discounted air purifier (that blows cool air on me at night in the Buffalo winter lol). -It was mostly work from home.

-Management leadership is so inept, it boggled my mind. Actually, it was bordering on a comedy movie. Total clown show. Misplaced priorities, lack of understanding of marketing basics and technology, waste of company funds on campaigns that didn't work and scammy agencies, and on and on. I should've known there was a big problem when my manager didn't even understand the difference between conversion optimization and SEO. Lol. I'm wondering how it's possible she got that position in the first place. -I showed up one day and two low-level employees told me I was no longer needed. No word from my manager in marketing or the president. Or even why. My manager had praised everything I'd written. But now I was totally ghosted. I was deeply considering quitting anyway, but what a way to treat employees! That's probably why they have password keypads on all doors before you can get in. I guess they've angered people. -The company lives on taxpayer-funded free air purifier funding for schools and businesses. That's almost their entire business model at this point. They're open about that in their ads. That funding ends in a couple of months, so in my opinion they'll be going under when their cash runs out. -Don't make the mistake I did and ignore the reviews. They're impulsive and treat people horribly.
