Pros

- Opportunity to work with some amazing clients - Unionized workplace - Good benefits: Competitive compensation, generous holiday schedule, unlimited PTO Overall, the best part of this job is the fulfillment you get from working with clients who are fighting for our shared values. The internal team is also very supportive, and consistently celebrates each other and shares helpful resources to ensure we're improving our work as a whole.

Cons

- Overwhelming workload - Unreasonable expectations - Confusing responsibilities - Dismissive leadership It's to be expected that political work is stressful at times, but there are little to no support systems in place to help struggling team members and prevent burnout. We have a 4-day work week, but are often expected to respond to client needs on Fridays. We're encouraged to voice our concerns with managers, but little to no action follows those complaints. Finally, a recent team restructuring has made our individual workloads unbearable. Sadly, it doesn't appear things will improve in the near future, so I can't, in good faith, recommend this workplace.
