Pros
Low stress place, very family friendly. No one works past 5 or 530. Plenty of room to learn what you want. Lots of independence and autonomy. Few jerks, with a fairly flat organizational structure. Upper management is accessible, though they don't have any formal means to submit feedback. Flexible hours. Easy commute.
Cons
No leadership from management. They rarely communicate.When they do they speak solely in aphorisms. Apparently it's still 1990. There's a lack of company culture, along with little accountability. People here are very complacent, many have been here their entire career. My feeling is that most people have no idea what it's like to hustle and work hard for an employer. There's dead wood throughout the org that simply needs to be terminated. Managers have a tendency to not reply to email. There is zero passion here. The sales leaders have some, yet the corporate staff does not, nor do they relate to what actually takes place outside the office. There's no effort to develop employees with an eye to career advancement.
