    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Autopart International (Monroeville, PA).

    Interview

Informal, laid back, seems like a "warm, welcoming" place to work where they give employees a fair chance...Once you get hired though, it all turns bad and you realize you may have made a horrible mistake. Do not be deceived by the manager who interviews you...he admits from the interview that the company has a high turnover rate, but He makes it seem like the high turnover is due to poor quality employees with little intelligence who apply there....Be warned now, it's not true...Stay away from this place at all cost

    Interview Questions

    • Do you have a clean drivers license?   1 Answer

    Negotiation

Had an interview, and was told I would receive a call in less than a week after they ran my drivers license for a background check...received a call less than a week later

    Sales Representative Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Washington, DC
    Accepted Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Autopart International (Washington, DC) in January 2015.

    Interview

The overall Hiring Process took a while, 3 weeks - interview however was quick. Hiring manager and HR were involved. Seemed as though the hiring manager had the final say, HR involved as a check and balance. Paperwork, drug check and background check were messed up at times, not all the people in the process, knew what to do ... could of been a cleaner process. Duplicate work in some cases.

    • Asked to explain my resume, which includes education and previous work experience.   Answer Question
    • Tell me about a time you were particularly successful in solving a complex customer problem. What challenge did you face? How did you ensure that the customer's needs were met?   Answer Question
