Pay was decent, hours were good, people on the floor were awesome. Location was also good for me

Very dirty, cockroaches everywhere, bathrooms were disgusting and embarrassing when entertaining a customer or a supplier. Furniture, equipment, carpet everything is so old and dirty. No inventory management system in place, they use a master excel sheet and mostly the owners memory. The owner has to bless off everything. Not empowering. No phones to call to the other departments, you have to walk to talk to everyone. Key personnel cant speak english and dont even have email. The owner and head engineer are on seperate email systems. There are no systems in place and they barely passed there 2018 ISO audit. There is no receponisnist, AP person or customer service person. No one answers the phones.

It was close to home.

This place was terrible. It was the worst contract manufacturer I have ever worked at. They didn't have an MRP system. They use a ridiculous excel spreadsheet to keep track of inventory and what to order. The stock room was filthy with years of dust and grime. Basically they are running the company like novices. Management doesn't have the vision to grow the company and is therefore struggling, they recently laid off another buyer. PO's were placed on a Word document and then logged separately. The place is disgusting with roaches and years of neglect, there was a dead one on my desk that no one could even clean up before my arrival.
