Pros

Excellent pay and bonus structure So far able to withstand economic downturns Many training opportunities in soft skills (leadership, presentations, management, etc)

Cons

Leadership is by fear and intimidation Expected to work while on vacations/holidays Lack of advancement opportunity Many at VP level and above are arrogant and demeaning Lack of training opportunity in job related tasks Very low employee morale

Pros

For the most part, I did not have to bring work home with me. Compensation was good. Benefits are on par with other corporations in the area, although they have been slowly eroding them.

Cons

Company still very siloed between the various business units. Middle and upper management do not work well with each other, and their strategy is not as clear as it could be. A lot of formerly in-house services have been outsourced, which has slowed down what were routine processes. Micromanagement seems to be on the rise.
