      I had an awesome RVPO. He is great and listened to me. He validated me and encouraged me.

      Cons

      Corporate esp corporate HR sucks. They have become an HR hellscape. They are dominated by the compliance line. You have to live in fear of someone getting mad and making up stuff and calling in on you. Either submit to the almighty HR goddesses or suffer the wrath...

      Opportunity to serve disadvantaged populations - elderly and minorities.

      Cons

      Lack of trust, Endless approvals needed to get basics of what may be needed for resident care, Profit above quality of care and quality of life, reimbursement process is bulky and untimely, decisions made that impact the community are made without consideration or input from field staff (ie, upper management knows best)
