Pros

Inspiring leadership. Dedication to customer service, and also to employee growth and loyalty. Excellent products. The owners really cared about the heart of the business - it's employees. Best job I have ever had.

Cons

Salaries were slightly low compared to industry. There were growing pains which resulted in some infighting, which made it slightly stressful to work there in the months before I left.

Pros

Nothing - not even a single thing

Cons

I cannot emphasize enough how utterly horrendous my experience with Axium Plastics' Human Resources department has been. If you're considering working for this company, brace yourself for a rollercoaster of incompetence, indifference, and unprofessionalism. Right from the start, it was clear that those handling HR lacked the needed education. It's concerning that those dealing with employee issues and other important matters don't have HR degrees. This lack of know-how shows in how they repeatedly mess up basic HR tasks. My onboarding process felt like a chaotic circus, with misplaced paperwork, missed deadlines, and constant confusion. It's astonishing how a company of this size could fail so miserably at streamlining such a fundamental aspect of the employee experience. Communication within the HR team is a mess. It's no surprise since the people in charge lack the skills to deal with HR complexities. I felt like I was constantly left in the dark, with unanswered emails and unreturned phone calls. When I did manage to get in touch with someone, it was clear that they had no knowledge of my situation and were unable to provide any meaningful assistance. It's baffling how an HR department can be so disconnected from the needs and concerns of its employees. The HR department is unprofessional. It's sad to see people without proper HR training struggling to support employees. Instead of fostering a positive work environment, the HR team at Axium Plastics contributes to a toxic atmosphere where employees feel undervalued and unsupported. In conclusion, Axium Plastics' HR is a disaster led by unqualified individuals. If you're thinking of joining, be ready for a bad experience where your HR concerns are mishandled. Look for a company that values a competent and qualified HR team for a positive work environment.
