      Pros

      BAYCAT is such a diverse company in terms of both employees and recruits. On my first day I noticed that everyone was either of color or LGBTQ or both. It was such a fun environment to work in and I learned so much.

      Cons

      Maybe pay could be higher, but I understand that they get most of their funding from grants.

      the staff at baycat are so supportive and genuinely care about making diverse, honest media.

      Cons

      as an intern, lots of the work we did was internal—would love the opportunity to do more work with people outside of the org

      Pros

      The company provides a variety of programs to help the youth and allow others to gain hands-on internship experience in the film industry. Everyone is really friendly and open to supporting each other.

      Cons

      Can be disorganized, but that is the nature of non-profits.
