Benefits are atrocious - Technician BCI Integrated Solutions Employee Review

Pros

Work is steady but thats it. I’m looking because the benefits are terrible. Health insurance is literally $800+ for family every check. Its insane.

Cons

Benefits hands down is the biggest con. If you have a family, and need health insurance BCI is not the place. Find something else because $800 a check is the worst I have ever seen. BCI has a problem finding good help and keeping good help because of this issue.

Pros

Competitive Pay: The position offered a relatively high hourly rate of $34. Brief Experience: The short duration of employment allowed for a quick exit without long-term commitment. Insight into Company Culture: The experience provided a clear understanding of the company's work environment and practices, helping in future career decisions.

Cons

Lack of Safety Protocols: Lead technician failed to adhere to proper safety procedures, creating a hazardous work environment. Unprofessional Behavior: The trainer engaged in inappropriate conversations about religion, aliens, sexuality, and politics, which made for an uncomfortable work setting. Excessive Driving Requirements: Trainer required me to drive him for 6 hours each day, adding unnecessary strain and distraction from the job. Discriminatory Remarks: During orientation, an electrician openly expressed dislike for gay people, contributing to a toxic work atmosphere. Inadequate Professionalism: Overall lack of focus on professional conduct and workplace ethics. Unsatisfactory Compensation: Despite a competitive hourly rate of $34, the negative aspects of the job outweighed the pay.
