Pros

-benefits package -location is central -good mission - *some* people are friendly

Cons

-The workplace culture often felt toxic, so much drama, every. single. day. that made day to day work challenging. -Departments operated in silos, with limited collaboration or communication across teams. When attempting to offer suggestions or contribute ideas, feedback was often dismissed, and I was encouraged to “stay in my lane,” particularly by more senior colleagues. -Limited opportunities for career growth, and the role did not align with how it was originally described during the hiring process. -High employee turnover, which appeared to be largely driven by cultural issues. -While I expected a nonprofit environment to feel meaningful and fulfilling, this was one of the most discouraging professional experiences I’ve had.

Pros

Interesting projects Nice work mates that are willing to teach Paid time off in december seperate to vacation On the Canada line

Cons

Leadership make awkward movements that are noticed from the entire company. I saw the current leadership team get taken out to dinner by the ex-CEO that was dismissed in his 10 yr anniversary, a week later!!! Talk about major conflict of interest with institutionalized data. The incumbent was dissmissed with cause without an explanation to its people. Susssssssssy. Leadership team mandates 3 times a week yet none of them follow rip morale They force you to do goals yet they paid out no merit to only themselves. Bonuses only to the people that do nothing (leadership) First time BCNET has been in a major deficit and they decide to do office renovations. We went from 65 people to 40 and they decided to do office renovations. Imagine the morale save if that money went into salaries. Marketing has gone through lay offs so I have to do all their reports and comm stuff. Uuuuuuuuuugh.
