Pros

Small teams, integrated global offices, great internal camaraderie without internal politics. Opportunity for Analysts and Associates to get face-to-face with clients and corporates at a early stage and get better transaction experience than they would at larger firms. Strong relationships with the PE firms in Asia. Sends its Analysts and Associates on William Blair's training in Chicago.

Cons

Winning mandates isn't the issue, but a lot of the transactions are for "difficult to sell" companies and take a long time. Salaries are below bulge bracket levels.
