Management detached from the work and spread too thin. No one wants to take time for training new engineers.

Pros

They offer something that not a lot of others do, the AP program, to make sure all of their engineers have passed off these modules for steel, wood, masonry, etc. Culture is great, and most of the people are smart and personable.

Cons

It’s no secret that they are the slave drivers of the industry here. Incredibly cheap because they don’t pay their employees a fair rate. They make a lot of empty promises and while they grind their lower level engineers to death, executives continue to bring in work and attempt to manage their own projects, poorly. They can’t keep project managers or hire any, and when one leaves, their projects get dumped onto whatever poor souls are remaining. Little accountability from management. Careful who you speak to and work for, they won’t hesitate to stab you in the back and throw you under the bus to a client just so they can save face.
