Pros

Decent health coverage Flexible working conditions Interesting variety of projects

Cons

Design team is constantly at the tail end of the game of Pass the Buck. No designer has had even a slight pay raise in the last 3+ years. No one has asked designers for input on ways to improve our jobs unless we complained about things loudly, then meetings were held and nothing was done. BILT runs like a sluggish large corporation instead of a ~30 employee startup.

Pros

BILT Inc. was truly one of the best places I’ve ever worked. The team felt like family—supportive, collaborative, and genuinely invested in each other’s success. There was a strong sense of purpose in the work, especially knowing the app helps make complex assembly and product instructions so much easier for customers to use and understand. What stood out most was the culture. Leadership was approachable, innovation was encouraged, and people were treated with respect. It was an environment where hard work was recognized and where you felt like your contributions mattered. The company combined a fast-paced, forward-thinking mindset with a close-knit, caring atmosphere, which is rare to find. I would absolutely recommend BILT to anyone looking for a workplace with great people, meaningful work, and a culture that feels like home.

Cons

Lots of opportunities for hard workers- no cons.
