Pros
- There are some wonderful people on the team. - I cannot speak to the folks in the home office in Connecticut because my interactions with them were limited, but the digital team had a lot of great people. - If you currently work here, or are going to be working here, it will be the worst job of your career, so its good to get that low-point out of the way.
Cons
- How much time you got? Everything wrong starts at the top, I have never seen more inept leadership in my life. - There have been rolling layoffs since the start of 2023, so as you can imagine, employee morale is as low as it gets. - BMG has now purchased 4 digital agencies, all 4 agencies have been hit hard by the layoffs, so now only a skeleton crew remains and as you would assume, a lot of clients have left. - Their health insurance plan is bottom of the barrel. - Nepotism is rampant. If you are in the inner-circle, you are safe, outside of that, not so much. - Very top heavy with executives & directors who bring no value but have huge salaries. - The CEO surrounds himself by yes-people, these folks are not paid to think, they are paid to do and that left unchecked is super dangerous for any company/organization. - There is no company culture outside of fear of losing your job, super toxic. - Employees are up and quitting without having another job lined up. That should be a huge red-flag to HR & leadership, as employees are opting to stop getting paid/being insured to just not have to deal with the all the garbage. This job market is super tough, regardless, people are just walking away, that really just tells you how awful this place is.
