Pros
The people there are great to work with. All management is my department is very flexible when employees need time off. Anytime an employee needs help finding where to go to get the job done, management steps in and helps assist in finding out where to get the correct answers. It's a very laid back community in our department. Everyone is extremely friends and willing to help each other out. We're a fairly new department and everyone has been willing to lend a helping hand anytime a newer employee needs help. Overall it's a great place to work.
Cons
The biggest downside that we see, as employees, is the fact that since our department is a newer department - most of the lower level management doesn't know what the HR policies are and are therefore unsure of how to reprimand their employees. If employees are consistently late, they're not sure how they can handle it. The downside to that is that management in charge of the lower management doesn't seem too worried with the little things like tardiness and such & they don't realize how it brings employee moral down. It's something that definitely needs worked on.
