Pros

I can say that, without a doubt, BSM Partners is the only company I’ve worked for that I truly believe in the vision they have. This is not just a place to work, but a company that I truly want to work for and work with to achieve a better tomorrow.

Cons

Work is work and play is always better than work. While that line gets blurred at BSM and working feels like spending quality time with the team, it’s still technically work. It’s work you can feel good about and have fun doing it.

Pros

Despite the subpar leadership and stressful work environment due to management, I still had a generally positive experience thanks to the people I worked with. There were also plenty of learning opportunities, allowing me to gain valuable skills and experience, in spite of the challenges.

Cons

I had high hopes when joining BSM Partners, but after spending time here it became clear that leadership, company culture, and opportunities for growth are far from ideal. The management style is micromanaging, with leadership often making top-down decisions without considering input from employees. There is a lack of transparency, and feedback is not often taken seriously, making it difficult to feel motivated or valued. The decision-making processes feel disconnected from day-to-day work, which causes frustration. The salary offered is not competitive for the industry, and small raises are few and far between. Promotions are often limited to a change in job title without a meaningful change in salary or bonus capability. Despite taking on additional responsibilities, compensation remains stagnant. Few real incentives are provided to stay or grow within the company. The benefits package is underwhelming. While health insurance is offered, there is no retirement matching and annual or bi-annual cost-of-living pay increases are not provided. The work-life balance is difficult to maintain due to the constant pressure from management to reach a certain number of logged hours each day/week. For a small company, there has been an enormous amount of turn-over in the past few years, with almost half of their workforce either being let go or choosing to leave. In conclusion, unless you are willing to tolerate poor leadership and subpar pay, I would recommend looking elsewhere. There is little room for growth, and the overall employee experience is lackluster at best.
