Pros
Stable company that does reward employees for a job well done. Standards are fairly high.
There is usually good upward movement within the company, and has enough stores to provide that growth.
Local industry comment " if you can work for Back Bay, you can work for anybody". I believe the comment is meant as a badge of honor (so to speak), but is true in some cases. They do push you. Overall I would say that my experience there was mostly positive, although I had to eventually go and find a lower pressure type position. Like most things, companies go through growth periods, so they may have learned to treat employees better in the years after I left.
Cons
Sometimes can put to much pressure on employees to succeed. Not normally a problem, but management doesn't always put in the same effort.
