Pros

- Design and teach your own content for courses - Supportive in-class paraprofessionals

Cons

- Management does not advocate for employees. 23-24 School year holiday pay, grade pay, and paid lunch are no longer available to employees. I am making 1/3 less this year than last year. After signing a contract that included these same working conditions as the 22-23 school year, I was called and asked to sign a 6-month contract instead of a full year. There was no mention that this contract was completely different from the one that I had just signed. - Changed from 1099 contractor to W2 employee You are not given enough hours for benefit eligibility. This completely defeats the purpose of 1099 contractors to convert to W2 employee status. This could indicate the company is having financial instability.
