      This polytechnic is in a nice area, not far from the city center.

      Cons

      Salary package is considered low comparing to the living expenses in Manama which is expensive.

      Excellent work/life balance Minimal teaching preparation (for many) Cooperative academic administration

      Cons

      Minimal teaching preparation (for me) Claim to support research but seen nothing Domination of one nationality (the same as that of top institution management) - "explicitly implicit" nepotism Implicit sexism - discrimination against male members of staff Lack of facilities on campus - the least proper cafes to get yourself a coffee!
