Pros
Colleagues in the department are like family. They are the reason why I stayed long in the company. The benefits package is not bad but this depends on the rank or job grade. Empowered and given the opportunity to travel ( but it became too much) and oversee projects from scratch to hand over. Tried all the finished properties I was involved.
Cons
Stressful monthly meetings. Had to work on multiple projects with a lean team. On top of that, have to deal with politics and dramas with other departments. No travel allowance. Have to fork out first and reimburse which will take quite a while. So if one loses the receipts or forgets to claim in time because of back to back business trips, no hope of getting your money back. The most upsetting is the way they let go of staff. It’s part of the culture, I think. Don’t want to elaborate.
