Baseline Telematics Response
8yHello,
My name is Paul-André, not Andre.
I am sorry to read about your horrible experience. You accuse me of many things, including my “valiant attempt at salvaging my reputation”, so I don’t believe there is much point in reiterating what I have already said and admitted to in the very similar negative posts from your ex colleagues this past week.
I won't attempt any response to each of your very personal attacks. It was obviously a very toxic environment that some people fed off of, negativity breeds negativity, and now all of a sudden people feel they need to warn others way.
Baseline is presently in an envious position. Much of the hardships you've been through have paved the way for others.
I'd say that among my biggest mistakes was to hire an HR director who simply wasn't one, which, despite their best attempts, worsened things last year. This has been resolved.
Our solutions are amazing, our clients are very happy, and we recently hired a new team of experts who have brought a very passionate and positive energy back into Baseline - and it makes a huge difference. It is unfortunate you did not have that atmosphere during an admittedly turbulent time, and for that I am sorry. But obviously it is better that we have parted ways.
I would like to say that of course this platform encourages employee feedback - good and bad - but this has gone beyond any sense of professionalism and has become a personal attack on me and now on my wife. I am not the monster you are making me out to be - if I was I certainly would not still be in business. Some of your former colleagues are still here. Not out of fear, they are here because they want to be.
As well, you should know that although I care about what former employees think about their experience, I'm focusing my time in the positive energy with those who choose to be here, or weren't let go in the restructuring you seem to have been a part of. Our internal indicators (anonymous feedback on OfficeVibe) are amazing and keep improving, signs of continued improvement which matter far more to me than any angry, hateful, gratuitous, anonymous post on this platform ever could.
In conclusion, please feel free to contact me if you have more to say. I am, and always have been, open to constructive criticism and have an open door policy with my team.
