Pros
A firm with a very solid history and great people. Friendly, small company feel where you can take ownership of your responsibilities and make an impact without being crippled by extraneous process.
Cons
Unfortunately, fund performance took a big hit beginning in 2007 and never fully recovered. The firm that had such a solid history for many years, has had difficulty in recent years.
