Pros
The office has really good vibes overall, everyone who works there is really fun to be around and genuinely friendly. A lot of the employees here are young because they can really only afford people who are starting off in their careers and don't know how much their labor is actually worth.
In terms of tech companies, the work here isn't extremely demanding on the customer support side if you're competent in tech (except around back to school and reporting seasons). If you find that you actually like edtech, this job may serve as a springboard to getting a real job in a school district or another edtech company. The C levels are all really nice and genuinely care about the company and their employees.
This could be a pro or a con depending on your perspective but there's almost always some drama going on with someone. Given that it's a small company you tend to hear about everything.
Cons
Unless you're living with your parents or something, this place isn't going to pay the bills. Especially living in Davis there's no way you're going to be able to pay rent on the salaries they offer. Unfortunately, the company is small so this probably won't really change any time soon.
As the company's main clientele is religious schools, you'll have to work with a lot of extremely cult-y organizations (in particular, the catholic church and charter school orgs that cater to anti-vaxxers). Don't expect much in the way of bonuses or promotions, if anything you'll end up doing a bunch of stuff outside your job description.
