Cons
Mismanagement of people and funding for a product that is outdated and useless in the modern AI era! An organization that was founded by several African-American men from Harvard with staff representing our service areas to a company ran by non-Blk people with personal agendas, egos, and no real direction or passion to close the academic gap in America for underserved communities. The lack of respect and opportunities for people of color especially Blk women is a shame. It's a shame to play the race card but as of today only 2 African-American people work for this organization. Most of which were layed off and those held behind, while favorites were promoted and protected, ended up resigning even when offered new roles or positions. This bothered and left an unsettling feeling in me as a non African-American person.
