      Pros

      The lower-level employees are nice and passionate

      Cons

      - Overall poor leadership, with lots of public dysfunction visible. - Lots of strategy changes without good communication - Leaders were hypocritical about mistakes, punishing subordinates but covering up their own - Managers do not care about developing the careers of junior people - Culture is competitive and there is not much camaraderie

      Pros

      BenchPrep has some of the smartest people working for them. Everyone is willing to help to get the job done.

      Cons

      Fully remote which is nice but it is also not the best for building culture.

      Good culture, good people, flex PTO actually encourages people to take time off. Room for growth and mentorship.

      Cons

      Layoffs every year or two. General sense of precarity in the sector.
