Over worked and severely underpaid - Anonymous employee Beyond Interior Design Employee Review

They work around having to provide benefits by classifying employees as “contractors”. So when you’re working 55+ hours a week there is no such thing as overtime. They advertise that you make your own schedule at the beginning; but what it turns into is them telling you when to work and disciplining you if you’re not available to work at outrageous times as soon as they send you a task. All they care about is making more money - even at the expense of the well being of their clients and especially employees. Overall very toxic company run by a “designer” who hardly even touches the designs but claims all recognition for designs produced by miserable designers who are over worked and underpaid.
