Pros

Opportunities to develop and sculpt your own future career. Very entrepreneurial company to work for, I feel as though I am operating a business within a business which is an exciting feeling. Plenty of opportunities for travel, I've been to Belgium, the USA, all over the UK and Germany all within 6 months of working here. Team members are treated as professionals and treated very respectfully and fairly. The salary is also very competitive and the perks of working here are also second to none.

Cons

Not really a complaint - No formal training programme when I joined although the MD ran open/drop in sessions for training which was really good. A training scheme is in development for juniors. I think the reason one isnt in place at the moment is that most people are senior search consultants. With the MD holding open session I do feel as though I could learn everything I needed to or receive guidance.

Thank you. We have monthly team 'ideas' meetings where we make joint decisions on the day-to-day life and direction of the company which we will be continuing to make sure we keep the positive culture that we have here at Beyond Search.

Pros

I think working at Beyond Search is great. You are treated like an adult and the flexibility offered to the team is unlike anywhere else I have worked. Plenty of work, great pay, great incentives. A really high quality approach and actual respect from clients and candidates because of the service provided. Team works well together and each brings something different to the table. Nice office and feel well looked after. Great mentorship and help where needed. Great leadership and clear mission.

Cons

Limited meeting room availability for clients and candidates. We meet 99% of clients at their offices as is to be expected from a quality outfit but it would be nice to be able to get some rooms for meeting candidates more. MD makes himself part of the team and very easily accessible and a great/envisioned/energetic leader but needs to realise that by him not taking a break/holiday staff feel like they shouldn't even though this is encouraged.

Thank you, we are delighted that you are so happy. Your advice to Management has been noted and will be acted upon. We encourage holidays for our staff as we believe they are often the best way to keep batteries charged and gaining a wider perspective on the world is healthy for everyone which is why we encourage you to do this by making use of your unlimited holiday allowance - book that holiday :) We will also have a word with the management of the building and cleaning staff for the office.
