Pros
BeyondFS is a specialised and focused consultancy within financial services (typically banking and insurance). The opportunities at BeyondFS are great – as it’s a small firm you can take ownership of an item and make a significant impact in a short space of time, and equally because of its size, you can shape your career how you want it to look. You also feel valued as a consultant as you have a genuine impact on the firm overall.
Consultant development wise – from a formal perspective, it invests a lot in its Learning and Development programme (everything from weekly industry focussed learning sessions through to external sessions at RADA). From an informal perspective, I have had more direct learning/coaching opportunities at BeyondFS than at previous larger consultancies and have learnt a huge amount since joining. If you want to find a firm where there is genuine growth and learning opportunity, this is it!
Cons
Whilst I consider the size a plus, it is a small company and you do need to work outside your comfort zone at times. However, the support is always there and it's a great opportunity to learn new areas of the business.
