Pros

I have experienced ample opportunities for professional growth, with support from senior leadership to expand both technical skills and people leadership capabilities. I enjoy the option to work from both the Sydney and Gold Coast offices, facilitating valuable in-person collaboration with colleagues across locations. I have attended industry events that have enhanced my knowledge and provided networking opportunities with like-minded professionals. I am able to collaborate with external agencies and subject matter experts, to challenge and validate strategic plans and tactics, fostering a dynamic work environment. I have been able to engage in volunteer work for causes I care about, enriching both my personal and professional fulfillment.

Cons

Ever-changing timelines for the "Transformation Project" make effective resource planning and task prioritisation challenging. Frequent changes and conflicting priorities can create ambiguity, leading to unnecessary stress and potential burnout among team members.

Pros

- Love the hybrid culture. In office days feel meaningful and it's great to have the remote working days from home to avoid burnout from long, arduous commutes. - Strong focus on connection and nice perks that link back to that. Weekly catered lunches and little surprises make it fun. - The work is interesting. Good opportunity to get across different areas of the business and see how you make an impact day to day (caveating this isn't for everyone, but an advantage of working in a smaller sized business) - Good at communication. We hear business updates from the leadership team on a monthly basis, and it's pretty transparent.

Cons

Depends on the team you work in. It can be fast paced and the priorities can shift last minute. If you like that type of work, it's great. Doesn't have the silos or structure of bigger businesses, so if that is a preferred environment then a smaller, faster place like BRG won't fit.
