Pros

• It’s the perfect agency to use as a stepping stone into your career right out of college. • A decent office.

Cons

• Narcissistic CEO - don’t let the fake compliments fool you. • Underpaid / Overworked - those go hand in hand in every department in this agency. Expect more work to come your way every month you are there. No annual raises. • Toxic Culture - it’s a nice smoke show. Lots of catered lunches, restaurant outings, holiday parties, happy hours, the whole works. In time, you’ll realize how much money goes into these events that gets a nice tax write off at the end of year for Bigeye, but you will never compensated adequately for your skills/knowledge/work ethic/time investment. • No Leadership - the ONLY decision maker is the CEO. The rest that sit at the table that are also labeled as “leaders” are again there for a really nice smoke show, only there to fool themselves really - the whole agency is aware the others have no say. • Micromanaged - even through the pandemic this agency was in office, no masks enforced. Simply put, CEO wants to micromanage your every move. • No Flexibility - expect to be at the office 8-10 hrs a day. More if you are creative. No exceptions. Mothers/expected mothers, do not apply. No flexibility for doctors appointments, emergencies, etc. Absolutely no working from home, ever. PTO is only 12 days A YEAR, this includes sick days, vacations, COVID, you had an emergency and couldn’t make it to the office, etc. • No Trust - this agency will somehow manage to make you feel like you are not talented, that you can’t do better than this. But you can. You will be gaslighted every single day you work there and it’s not until you leave that you’ll realize how poorly as a working professional and a human being you were treated. • Cheap - they recruit an excessive amount of interns, unpaid, for free labor to not hire qualified employees they so desperately need.

Pros

• Large variety of clients of various sizes and industries • Great work culture. So many people have made lifelong friends even after they have moved on. • Very good about promoting within the company and encouraging professional growth.

Cons

• Sometimes the work/life balance gets a little hairy but it ebbs and flows. • Occasionally there are too many meetings about a particular project but it's been getting better.

Pros

I was really excited for this internship experience. i enjoyed the company everyone was very nice and welcoming. I actually learned quite a lot and got great experience. This is probably because they make interns do all of their work haha. But regardless, I got great experience and was able to build a portfolio with it and actually gain some skills that have been useful in my current job. The company has many get together they all seem to get along great.

Cons

I was initially really hoping it would have led to a position full time. I was actually told by the owner that he was going to offer me a full time job there just not until the new year which was a month away. I was very excited over this and told my family didn’t really apply for other jobs because I thought for sure this was going to work out. I kept following up and got no response after no response, which was very rude. I was also told that I could always reach out for a letter of recommendation which i did reach out as well and got no response. I was really disappointed to find out that they use a group of interns every semester to do their work but they can’t afford to pay anyone. I was actually offered a job there months later when someone had quit. Whether I had a job already or not, I would have never accepted it knowing how they had treated me and completely ghosted me once I was done being an intern for them. I found out that the salary was unbelievably low as well so i’m actually very grateful that I didn’t accept a job there.
