Rotten at the Core - Supervisor Billups Employee Review

In my experience, the company’s leadership has faced persistent and systemic challenges related to workplace culture. Issues involving sexism, racism, and misogyny were part of the environment shaped under Ben Billups' tenure. While David Krupp's leadership introduced changes, it appeared to come with new policies and decisions that seemed to prioritize executive compensation over employee welfare. This was particularly apparent during the COVID-19 pandemic, when employee salaries were reduced despite the company receiving PPP loans and continuing acquisitions. There were also concerns raised about the West Coast Managing Director. Shortly after her appointment, questions were brought forward regarding alleged past behavior that some believed hindered employees' career progression at previous organizations, resulting in apologies being issued to staff members. Additionally, there were practices related to client management that caused ethical concerns. These included instances where clients may have been charged in a manner that benefitted the company disproportionately, and where employees felt pressured to direct clients toward inventory that offered backend rebates from suppliers. While profitability is a legitimate business goal, these practices, in my view, risked compromising client trust and ethical standards.
