Pros

Most positions are fully remote

Cons

- Leadership team is disconnected and self-interested - Founder's ego gets in the way of process - Employee concerns are ignored - Constantly pivoting to new buzzwords for sales leaves every project unfinished - Mindset is very "sell first, figure out what we sold later" - Zero to no communication from upper management. You won't know what the plan is until the plan is to let you go For the past few years the company has been in an cycle of hiring in upper management that proceed to hire their previous employees and lay off current ones that have contributed significantly. For still considering themselves a startup they have zero appreciation for employees that have stuck with them since the beginning. They showed recognition for 10 year work anniversaries telling us "you are Binary Defense", but then two weeks later let us go without so much as a second thought. There was a lot of potential with this company for such a long time because of the solid and talented people they had doing the actual work, but all of those people have become victims of greedy leadership at this point.

Pros

Great people and culture once you become well positioned. Leadership cares for their strong employees. Good, clear communication from top down recently.

Cons

Lack of transparency on pay ranges, pay raise process, promotions, and generally struggles with finance getting on board with advancing the "people" portion of the orginization.
