Pros

there are few decent people who seem to know what they're doing

Cons

business model is designed to impress clients and squeeze most out of employee. working hours go into after hours and weekends. public holidays are there and not to be followed. management, who has no background in the field of work, promises results to client without checking with employees about scope of work, and then create pressure to get work done. everyone is running around trying to work with incomplete processes instead of calming down and having organized approach. for dealing with all of this, pay is not any special. there is no bonus option or stock options. some higher ups do not want to work hard, even though they have the industry knowledge and they can change their departments over night if they want to. there is too much finger pointing when something goes wrong instead of collaborative work. Culture is very toxic, and leadership has no idea about it.

Pros

You’ll have the chance to be involved in various disciplines, gaining exposure to multiple areas due to the company’s focus on manufacturing for other clients. This can lead to participation in diverse projects. However, compensation may vary depending on the company’s financial situation and client acquisition. If BioCentriq is unable to secure clients, this could impact workflow and potentially affect pay.

Cons

The company is relatively new and lacks a solid client base. While they have the potential to attract new clients, many do not stay due to limited infrastructure. Employees are often overworked and spread thin, as the small size and limited budget lead to one person managing multiple responsibilities. Additionally, internal politics and favoritism are significant issues, with management often dismissing constructive feedback if you’re not in favor. This environment can make it challenging to succeed or grow within the company.
